We've tried most of the curry houses in the area, in our opinion The Bengal has by far the best tasting food. It's difficult to find a good curry nowadays and we are so pleased we found The Bengal, try it, the food is a cut above the rest.

We visit our beloved London every year and never fail to have dinner at The Bengal once or twice during our stay. The quality of the food is superb, but what really stands out is the staff's good disposition and professionalism. The fish tikka is a must!

Can only endorse most if not all of the other 5-star reviews. Happenstance brought us to The Bengal Restaurant today where we enjoyed a beautifully-cooked lunch in the company of friends. Over and above the high quality of the food was the genuine friendliness & courtesy of the owner – an aspect so often sadly lacking in our experience of eating out these days. HIGHLY recommend.

Having been to this restaurant on several occasions I would honestly state that the quality of the food is exceptional for the location the restaurant is located. The food was delivered promptly can't fault the quality either deliciously taste despite BrExit it's very difficult to find a proper India but this little gem still has a lot to offer one should try it for yourthe mouthwatering curries here are truly mouthwatering.

This is an cosy indian restaurant perfect for family meals, I chose the Lamb Biryani recommended by the very welcoming waiter. The lamb biryani was very tasty highly recommend to anyone who likes Indian food.

Well, the service was brilliant from the moment we entered. The food had that home cooked taste and was delicious, i didn't kno what to pick so the waiter made a delicious choice and brought me some extra sides! Was a lovely chap and we had a great laugh. Highly recommend giving it a go. My new spot dor 2016!

Best king prawns I have had, presentation and taste was something I have not had anywhere else. A traditional Indian restaurant. Food is worth every penny. :)

the best Indian food in west London they have lovely vegetable dishes, also during lunch hour they have a special offer which is £5 per head full meal of your choice! i come here most days for my lunch break.Highly recommended

We went on a study trip to London last week and chose to eat at Bengal restaurant. The food was very delicious and it was an amazing experience. I really wish we had such a nice restaurant in my hometown in Germany.

We are from Southampton for Diwali program in Pochester Hall. Also we find this restaurant. Anyway food was EXCELLENT.Background GHAZAL & MUSIC REMEMBERS our Ethnic History we visited so many restaurant but Bengal gives us EXTRA ENJOYMENT. We have just had a meal at the bengal, it was just as i remembered it as a little girl, tasty! My parents used to bring me to this resturant 30 years ago when i was about 6. It used to be in queensway then, in 1985. I recall traveling from milton keynes every friday and sometime saturdaysand waiting an hour or more as the ques were down the street. Staff were always friendly. Il never for get how nice they were to me and how excitedi was when the king prawn sizzler arrived for all to see and hear. It was the same today, we are all just a bit older. But it was a pleasure to now bring my son, as he is now six. Brought me to tears to see all the old staff still there and smiling. This resturant has lasted longer than my family. Proving how special it is.... Claire

You will not be disappointed. While there are Indian restaurants with a more delicate balance of flavors in the curries, I found each dish to be dominated by its prime flavor, I was very satisfied at the conclusion of the meal, especially for the price paid. I recommend the sheek kebab which is served sizzling on a cast iron plate and with delicious grilled onions.

I came to this place because it got great reviews and was a short distance from where we were staying. I was not disappointed! The food was the best Indian food I have ever had. The servers were friendly, attentive. The food came quickly and was a reasonable price. Delicious dishes! My only regret is that I had not found it sooner or I would have ate here twice! Delicious, don't miss out!!

Two years ago i went to the bengal and i am still going there, food is good service is very friendly. i am a fan of hot food Mr Malik recommended me to try chicken tikka naga bhouna and it was very tasty mouth watering, if you are fan of good try The Bengal w2 6et

Been going to the Bengal for over 30 years and this is the best curry house I've eaten in ever. And I've eaten in a few from brick lane to Birmingham's curry mile, you just get a awesome meal for a brilliant price , the manager is great they all treat u like royalty in there what more can be said all my family rat in the Bengal and Evan the new generation are being brought up on what a decent curry is 5 stars all the way

Best indian restaurant in Bayswater, its been in the area for years and has always been this good. Its really reasonably priced and the food is always perfect! The service is excellent too!

The food was excellent! We were greeted in a friendly manner and seated promptly upon entering. The restaurant was always full the entire visit.The tikka Masala was amazing with the perfect amount of spice for my pallet. The Lamb Butter Punjabi Rogan melted in my mouth and was by far the best dish we ordered. I would recommend this to any of my friends as it is a great value for the money....good wishes bengal will come back differently.
